Qq is for queen

Image result for queen royalty

Qq is for queen this week. We are looking and listening for Qq and playing with all things royal!

Table activities this week include making crowns, playing with castles, finding treasure and coloring castle pictures.

Small group activities are making a shield and coloring a picture of ourselves as a king or queen.

KDIs for the week are-
Pretend play: Children express and represent what they observe, think, imagine, and feel through pretend play- Thinking about being a queen or king, what would our shield or crown look like?

Cooperative play: Children engage in cooperative play.- One castle and castle toys mean we have to figure out how to play together.

Jesus Time- This week we hear the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers. Leprosy was a devastating illness in Jesus' day. You were separated from your family and friends because of the danger of contagion. Ten men cried out to Jesus for healing and he had compassion on them and sent them to show themselves to the priest to show that they were cured. As they ran to the priest, one turned around to go back. He sought out Jesus to thank him for the miracle of being healed. Jesus asked, "Weren't there ten men that I healed?"
How often we forget to thank God for the miracles he does for us every day! Remember to thank Him!!

Our kindergarten/preschool musical "The Little Red Hen" is next Thursday at 6:30- We would like everyone there at 6:15.

If possible, I would love to have my Tuesday/Thursday students come next Wednesday at 11:00am to practice it with everybody. Parents would need to stay and we would meet in the church at the big school. Practice would only take about 20 minutes.

Hope they can all come!!

Have a great week!
Mrs. Schneck
